The average duration of a SINGLE female orgasm is around 20 seconds.
There are two key words to be considered here ‘average’ and ‘single’. Of course ‘average’ means, by definition, that there will be those that are longer and those that are shorter. So if YOU, as a female, feel that 20 seconds is nowhere close, remember that it could be this ‘average’ thing. And then even more crucially the average 20 seconds is for a SINGLE female orgasm — and that, quite literally, is the rub (or the nub). Some women can have (what I like to refer to as) Cascading Orgasms. A series of closely-spaced orgasms — bang, bang, bang. Yes, it is a form of multiorgasm. If you want to get real technical the difference being that with Cascading Orgasm the arousal level between orgasms don’t drop too much. If you ‘graph it’ the arousal level stays high with all these ‘little’ orgasmic peaks spiking up. With more traditional multiorgasms you get much more of the peaks-and-valleys — the peaks spaced much further apart.
Anywho, a SINGLE female approaching a minute in duration is called, officially, a STATUS ORGASMUS. Honest. I don’t make this stuff up. Actually I talked about Status Orgasmus, at length, as #27 in my “Orgasms: 101 Facts & Trivia” book. Here is a small snippet. You can get a FREE Preview at Amazon — plus the eBook is kind of affordable at 99 cents.

So I found this story, published on June 12, 2015, on the masturbation-specific site “Solo Touch” fascinating. One minute, 20 seconds. 80 seconds. IF that was a SINGLE orgasm that would be a record. BRAVO.
